Kellye's Bio

Kellye Newburn serves as Senior Accountant at Georgetown Health Foundation, where she has been a valued team member since July 2016. She brings over three decades of accounting experience in both the healthcare and private sectors. In her role, Kellye supports financial operations by managing vendor statements, preparing detailed reports, and working closely with stakeholders to ensure accuracy and efficiency in financial processes.</br></br> Prior to joining GHF, Kellye held roles such as Assistant Controller and Senior Accountant at Mesa General Hospital, and Accountant at South Austin Medical Center, where she specialized in financial reporting, month-end close processes, capital asset management, and regulatory reporting. She also gained experience in tax preparation and accounts payable/payroll earlier in her career.</br></br> Kellye earned her B.B.A. in Accounting, graduating Cum Laude from Angelo State University. A Georgetown resident, she is known for her meticulous attention to detail, strong work ethic, and positive attitude—qualities that align perfectly with GHF’s mission of community-focused service.
