Lauren's Bio

Lauren Olson joined Georgetown Health Foundation in December 2024 and serves as Executive Assistant to the Vice Presidents of Strategic Philanthropy and Education & Capacity Building. With over 15 years of experience supporting senior leadership across sectors including education, hospitality, finance, and the nonprofit space, Lauren brings a strong focus on organization, communication, and operational excellence to her role. At GHF, Lauren supports a wide range of executive functions—from managing complex calendars and coordinating strategic initiatives to facilitating board communications and planning high-level events. Her thoughtful, solutions-oriented approach helps advance the Foundation’s mission and ensures seamless support across departments. Lauren holds both the Professional Administrative Certification of Excellence (PACE) and the NOVA Chief of Staff Certification, underscoring her dedication to professional development and administrative leadership.
